A Strong Foundation

There were lots of volunteers and lots more block! 1,600 of them to be exact. That would be block of course. As you can see below, the volunteers were up to the task. They carried block, mixed concrete, and started building the walls. For those of us who were first timers laying block, we found out that it's really much harder than it looks. Thankfully, we had a few skilled professionals that could patiently show us the way. It took just over a week to complete and it wouldn't have been possible without many of you.
